Do the cabins have hot water and electricity?
Yes! All cabins have power 24 hours and full bathrooms with showers.
What are the slot sizes?
For walleye, you are not allowed to keep any that are between 16.1” and 22”. You can only keep one larger than 22”, then rest must be smaller than 16.1”.
For pike, you can can only have one larger than 34”, the rest must be smaller.

How many fish can I bring home?
On a Sportsman license you are allowed to take four walleye, four pike and three bass home with you. However, your daily catch limit is two walleye, two pike and three bass.
On a Conservation license you are allowed to take two walleye, two pike and one bass home with you. Your daily catch limit is one walleye, one pike and one bass.

What types of lures do you recommend?
We have a small selection of tackle available for purchase in our lodge. Here’s what we find works best:
- Double hook worm harnesses for walleye
- Williams wabblers for pike
- Jig and worm for bass
Do I need a licence to drive a boat?
If you have an Ontario Pleasure Craft Operator Card, bring it with you. But, not to worry, if you don’t have one that’s ok. When you are issued with your boat, our staff will have you complete and sign a boat safety checklist. Anytime you are in the boat, you will need to have the checklist available to show a Ministry of Natural Resources officer or the OPP (Ontario Provincial Police) should you be stopped.

Children under 6 years are free
Children from 6 to 15 years are half price
Pets are welcome but an additional fee of $10/day will be charged
All reservations require a non-refundable deposit of $100/person
Balances are paid on arrival by Visa, Mastercard or cash
Boats
You're welcome to bring your own boat - launching and dockage are included - but please notify at the time of booking
Boat allocation is based on a minimum of two adults per boat
Your boat and it's contents will be in good and working order upon your arrival and you will be given the opportunity to inspect the boat prior to taking it
Once a boat is in your hands you are fully responsible for it and it's contents, should anything be damaged you will be charged accordingly
Lifejackets and all required safety gear are provided by Brennan Harbour Resort, we strongly suggest you wear your lifejacket while on board and familiarize yourself with the safety equipment
Cabins
Seven day packages generally run from Saturday to Saturday but we are happy to accommodate individual needs as possible
Shorter stays are subject to availability
Check in time is 1pm
Check out time is 9am
Once you have checked in you are entirely responsible for your cabin and it's contents

At Brennan Harbour Resort we respect your privacy. We collect personal details and contact information. This information is for internal use only and is not disclosed to third parties. As a normal part of business, Brennan Harbour may involve a third party to execute a direct mail campaign to our guests via our guest database. The third party is obligated to ensure extreme confidentiality.
Any pictures taken by Brennan Harbour Resort staff or sent to us by our guests, including testimonials, may be used in advertising and promotional material, unless you specifically request that it not be used.
How may I get a fishing license?
You can purchase your fishing licence online prior to your trip. On this site, you can purchase a new Outdoors Card or renew your existing one, as well as purchase your fishing license. Once complete, you can print a temporary Outdoors Card and license. If you haven’t received your Outdoors Card of fishing license in the mail before you leave, make sure to bring your temporary one with you.
What about the bugs?
You can expect mosquitoes at dawn and dusk. Blackflies are typically only around in May and depend a lot on the weather. If it’s rainy, they tend to stick around longer. If it’s hot and dry, you won’t notice them.
Is there a grocery store nearby?
Yes, the grocery store is just a couple minutes away. There is also a liquor/beer store (LCBO) on your way in.
Can I catch anything other than walleye, pike and bass?

What should I bring with me?
The most important thing to bring is your fishing gear! You should also pack:
- rain gear
- bug spray
- large freezer ziplock bags for the fish you want to take home
- flashlight
- paper towels
- bath towels
Do you have internet and cell phone coverage?
We have free wifi available in our lodge. We do get cell phone service but sometimes it depends on your provider and where you are standing. If you’re having trouble, just ask us and we’ll suggest a good place to stand.
I am bringing my own boat, does your dock have power outlets?
Yes, you are welcome to bring a boat that is under 19’. Please bring appropriate fenders to protect your boat and ropes to tie it up. In the event of rough weather you will be asked to remove your boat from the dock. Use of our dock is entirely at your own risk. Brennan Harbour will not accept responsibility for any damage to your boat while at our dock.
